1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or placing a bid through Agnew Auction Services, you agree to be bound by these Conditions of Sale and by the terms of the applicable auction catalogue.
2. Bidding
All bids are binding offers to purchase. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. The auctioneer has sole discretion to refuse any bid, withdraw any lot, or resolve bidding disputes.
3. Buyer's Premium
A buyer's premium of 20% of the hammer price is added to the successful bid on each lot and is payable by the buyer as part of the total purchase price. Applicable taxes are added where required.
4. Payment
Full payment is due within seven (7) calendar days of the sale. We accept wire transfer, major credit cards, and approved financing. Title passes only upon receipt of cleared funds.
5. All Sales Final
Except where an item is proven to be a deliberate misrepresentation of authorship, all sales are final. Property is sold as-is and prospective buyers are responsible for inspecting condition prior to bidding.
6. Shipping & Collection
Buyers are responsible for shipping, insurance, and collection arrangements. International shipping is available upon request and subject to export regulations.
7. Limitation of Liability
Agnew's liability in respect of any lot is limited to the purchase price actually paid. In no event shall Agnew be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
